What Is A Giclee ?
(gee-clay) is a French term meaning "spraying of ink". Printing is from information obtained directly from the original painting. Iris Printers spray microscopic drops of color on to a fine art paper or canvas. Displaying the full color spectrum, these artworks have vibrant, brilliant colors and a velvety texture. This gives the finished product the look and texture of an original painting. For enhancement, the artist will hand paint certain areas to add to the overall effect.
